유형
OPIc에서 나오는 질문 유형은 크게 7가지가 있다. 특히 5번과 6번은 세부적으로 다시 아래와 같이 나뉘며 이를 개별로 합치면 전체 10가지 유형으로 도출된다.
- 단순묘사
- 확장묘사 e.g. 나열, 순서 → 재활용을 하기 위한 순서
- 경험: First, Last, Latest
- 인상적이었던 경험: Memorable, Unforgettable e.g. 집에서 휴가를 보내는 동안 가장 인상깊었던 일
- Role-playing: (1) 정보요청 (2) 대안 (3) 과거 실제 경험
- 비교-대조: 과거 Vs. 현재, 유형 A Vs. 유형 B
- 돌발주제
전체 15개의 문항 중 콤보 문항으로 5문항이 아래와 같은 조합으로 출제된다고 알려져 있다.

특정한 주제에 대한 10가지 질문 유형을 수집하여 연습하면, (주제)x10 개수의 사전 답안을 만들 수 있다. 그리고 중복 대답이 가능한 것을 판별해 사전 답안 수를 줄이면 된다. OPIc의 주제는 위의 오픽 서베이로 결정되나, 일반적으로 선택하는 주제 문항을 아래와 같이 정리했다.
